DESCRIPTION

Otaru is a nostalgic port town grew rapidly since the 1880s, a number of historic buildings and stone warehouses still remain throughout the city. It is recommend for a perfect half-day trip from Sapporo. ​

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

• Sakaimachi-dori: This atmospheric street is lined with souvenir, seafood, sweet, music box and handmade glass craft shops. Enjoy shopping!

• Otaru Canal: Built in the early 20th-century, this canal was used in the cargo handling on barges. Currently the cobblestone promenade along the canal offers a romantic atmosphere, especially after dark.

• Breweries: We will visit the sake and beer breweries inside the historic warehouses. Enjoy tasting!

• Night View: We can enjoy romantic night view from Mt Tengu-yama or the canal cruise if you leave at Sapporo in the afternoon.
