DESCRIPTION

Southern Sapporo (called Minami-ku) is the city's most natural rich ward surrounded by the mountains. This tour covers the artistic parks in Geijutsu-no-mori area and onsen villages around Jozankei. Finally, getting into the onsen such as Hoheikyo and Koganeyu.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

• Sapporo Art Park: On a hillside forest setting, this park contains the modern exhibition halls and workshops. The open-air museum has 74 unique works.

• Ishiyama Ryokuchi Park: You will find a spiral mountain and photogenic stone square like a Roman colosseum.

• Jozankei Onsen Valley: You can enjoy stroll around the river and rest at the free foot baths.

• Onsen Experience: You can choose one onsen facility from Jozankei or Hoheikyo. I think Hoheikyo is the best onsen. Sorry, no tattoos allowed.

AVAILABLE ARRANGEMENTS

• From Jozankei by bus (¥210), we can visit the Sapporo Ainu Culture Promotion Center Pirika Kotan (admission adult ¥200) and then getting into Koganeyu Onsen.

• You can continue join the Sapporo Night Stroll private tour if you book ahead.
