DESCRIPTION

The 2000-hectare sprawling lowland Nopporo Forest Park has been preserved from the late 19th-century. A large number of birds and insects inhabit among the trees. This Park is home to the general museum and historical village of Hokkaido.​

• Historical Village of Hokkaido: This fine open-air museum boasts frontier era’s 53 historic buildings that were moved here from all over Hokkaido, including public halls, schools, houses, shops and factories.

• Nopporo Forest Park Hiking: We will hike in the forest from the historical village to the centennial memorial tower and stop by a pond.
